"How do you CHOOSE to handle "Your Hard?"
If you have lived any length of time, we feel confident in saying life has thrown you a few curve balls that were HARD! So what do we do when life gets HARD?
The beauty of "HARD" is this is where the believer has the opportunity to GROW! Although HARD is a given in life , GROWTH is NOT! GROWTH is a CHOICE! Many of us have heard the old saying,
"When life gives you sour lemons, make lemonade."
"Don't be SURPRISED by the FAVOR!"
"Don't be SURPRISED by the FIRE!"

As a child of God, we believe it is easy and natural to accredit God with FAVOR, but the FIRE???? FIRE is full of smoke and stinky smell, making it HARD to breathe. Surely God is not in that! It is so HARD to see in the FIRE. Recovering from burns is HARD! FIRE reminds us of hell and so the FIRE has to be the devil, right?
The truth of the matter is many times God is doing a great work in our lives through what feels like FIRE! He never leaves us alone to walk through the FIRE. He walks with us each step of the way if we CHOOSE to hold His hand.
This is where we CHOOSE "Our HARD." We can walk with God and let Him guide the way which means He goes before us shielding us and setting our pathway for our GROWTH. Do not ever allow the enemy make you believe your Heavenly Father sits back and watches you while you are in the FIRE alone (Daniel 3).!
If your house were burning and you needed to get your child out, would you tell them, "Do the best you can to get out and I am going to do the same?" No, you would tell them, "Stay close to me and we will walk out of this TOGETHER, I won't leave you. Don't let go of my hand!" You would desire to be their shield, their guide. What would happen if they kick and scream and say, "No, I can do it on my own." They pull away from you and you lose them because the smoke and flames are making it impossible for you to locate them now. Your child has made a CHOICE that is negatively affecting your desire and ability to help them.
We are so blessed that God is not limited by the natural sight we are limited with. We have a Heavenly Father that desires us to CHOOSE to grab His Hand and let Him walk us THROUGH the FIRE! We must understand this is a CHOICE. We wonder how many times have we refused to grab God's Hand, CHOSE to go it alone, and endured "Our HARD" in a much more severe way? Never forget, Jesus was the fourth man in the FIRE and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out not even smelling like smoke!
We live in a world full of HARD and according to the Word of God, it is not going to get any easier. We want to encourage you that whatever you face, you have a CHOICE to walk in "HARD" by yourself or walk through "HARD" holding God's Hand. We ALL are going to experience HARD in life; the difference will be the CHOICE we make when HARD knocks at our door.
